I started visiting my grandfather’s remote log cabin as a toddler. His property near Seeley Lake, Montana nurtured in me a love for the mountains and places where we can live in their shadows.

My training as a carpenter came working for Will Kats, a talented woodworker and builder in the Seeley Lake/Ovando area.
